AP State Govt. Sanctioned 4,048 More Houses for East Godavari District

According to the latest news, the government of Andhra Pradesh has sanctioned 4,498 more houses for the district of East Godavari. Initially, 1,250 homes were sanctioned by the government for all deputies except the Kakinada Rural and Rajamahendravaram rural segments in the county for the 2017-17 fiscal year for the benefit of the poor. And 4,048 housing units were newly sanctioned by the following representations of legislators and other people’s representatives of the two assembly constituencies.

Before this, about 20,150 residential units were additionally sanctioned for the district. Apart from the two assembly electoral circles, the newly merged mandals will benefit from the distribution of additional houses for East Godavari as part of the rehabilitation of the homeless people of the Polavaram irrigation project. Around 4,608 housing units were sanctioned for Kakinada under the “Houses for All” system of the Smart City Project.

In order to achieve the targets set for the current financial year, the district administration has Febided to give impetus for the implementation of housing systems.

The construction of houses for the eligible poor in the borders of the Kakinada Municipal Corporation will also be great encouragement.

KMC Commissioner Aleem Basha said that as they get 4.608 houses under the house for all scheme, a field-level survey is conducted to identify the beneficiaries. Local representatives and Janmabhoomi committees will also be involved in the implementation. Housing will soon be included in the community.
